HOW DOES IT WORK?
the magic is rusting!
When iron is exposed to oxygen and water, rusting occurs. This process generates heat. The white pad inside your Inzta Heat package contains an iron powder mix that simulates and accelerates rusting when it gets in contact with air.
in scientific terms:
Fe + 3/4O2 + 3/2H2O → Fe(OH)3 + quantity of heat.
Iron + Oxygen + Water → Ferric Hydroxide + quantity of heat.

no chemicals
Iron powder and water are essential for oxidation to happen.
Salt is used to speed up the heating process.
Vermiculite keeps the white pad dry despite containing moisture.
Activated carbon absorbs air and therefore supplies oxygen to the iron powder.
Water-absorbing resin prevents the iron powder from becoming sticky.
